These days, anybody can make fishing videos. It’s even getting to the point where any Tom, Dick, or Harry can get a GoPro and a quad rotor for under a grand and be able to get shots on, below, and above the water. While we appreciate all the amateur videos out there, professionally-shot and edited videos with clear audio and solid production value will always have a place in our hearts, and we are always on the lookout for more.

As soon as we got a sneak peak at this now-public pilot episode of an upcoming video series called Kayak Bass Adventures, we knew it was one we were going to keep an eye on moving forward. This debut episode gives us a look at what the show will have to offer visually, the overall tone of the program, how it will deliver information, and it also introduces us to the host, Alan Sladek.

Sladek got into kayak fishing five years ago, and he has already reached pro status. His show has drawn interest from several major league sponsors. It already has a great looking and easy to navigate website that features tips, videos and a blog that is slated to update at least weekly along with new episodes of the show.

Kayak Bass Adventures is also a major supporter of Heroes on the Water, which is a program aimed at helping combat wounded relex, rehab and reintegrate via fishing and outdoor adventures.

We are pretty good at picking out which shows are going to be ones to watch, and we feel very strongly about this one, so keep it on the radar.
